PURPOSE PROGRESS PERSONAL

Resident dogs, Pascal and Nymeria, are the heart and inspiration of Grandeur Canine.

Pascal, my Golden Retriever, is pure sunshine with fur. With his goofy grin, love for tennis balls and water, and naturally social personality, he brings joy and enthusiasm to everything he does. He has taught me the value of building confidence, creating positive associations, and allowing dogs to learn at their own pace.

Nymeria, my Belgian Malinois, is a special case. While intelligent, energetic, observant, and highly engaged, she came to me with behavioral challenges. She has taught me the importance of meeting a dog where they are and understanding what motivates them.

Having dogs with such different personalities has shaped the way I approach training: there is no one-size-fits-all dog. Effective training starts with understanding the individual dog, their motivations, their communication, and the goals of their human.
